Mr. Raja is a research scholar at the Department of East Asian Studies, University of Delhi. He holds a first-class master's degree in East Asian Studies from the same department, along with a bachelor's degree in Chinese from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He has previously worked with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and recently undergone Mandarin language training at the National Taiwan Normal University as a recipient of the 'Ministry of Education, Huayu Enrichment Scholarship'. He is also the founder of India’s first think tank dedicated to the study of contemporary Taiwan. His broader research interests encompass cross-strait relations, Taiwan's political parties, India-Taiwan and India-China relations, and China's role in the critical mineral supply chain.
