Research Committee

The Research Committee (RC) of the SHD Research Foundation is responsible for evaluating, approving, and monitoring research projects and proposals for obtaining and sanctioning financial assistance in accordance with the Foundation’s rules and guidelines. The committee comprises a director, two to three fellows, and advisory members, including up to one external expert, ensuring the quality and relevance of research activities undertaken by the Foundation. Appointed for a period of one year at the Annual General Meeting, the committee’s term lasts until reconstitution. It meets at least twice annually, with a quorum of three members, to uphold transparency and excellence in promoting impactful research aligned with the Foundation’s mission.

Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

The SHD Research Foundation is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace that is in line with its core values of diversity, equity, inclusion and harmony. To maintain the dignity and well-being of all individuals, the foundation has set up an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act).
The SHD Research Foundation provides a safe space for concerns to be raised and redressed without fear or hesitation. Complaints can be submitted in writing or via email, and the ICC ensures an open, honest, and unbiased resolution process. Along with redressing grievances, the foundation organizes workshops and sensitization programs aimed at workplace harmony and preventing harassment. By these means, the SHD Research Foundation remains steadfast on creating the work environment where every academician, researcher, student, and professional will thrive in dignity and respect.
